Another example of a variant Göring autograph. This one is dated 1945 also and provides an excellent comparison for the way he wrote numbers. Note the obvious similarities with the example which is the subject of this thread. Another contradiction of Wewelsburg's observations. So much for his expertise.
Göring signed literally hundreds of autographs upon his capture and in the months subsequent, resulting in major variations, some even scribbled. However, to an experienced eye, there are subtle formations to characters which remain unaltered. This is particularly evident in his numbers, confirming that the Göring signature card is real.

Max, what similarities are you talking about? And regarding the 'major variations' you have mentioned: What about the one and only genuine Hartmann autograph style, Schnaufer, Lippe, Sayn-Wittgenstein, Lent, Nowotny, Barkhorn, Marseille and so on and so on. Why was only Hermann Meier authorised to sign 'literally hundreds of autographs' and this in different styles? Most probably to irritate the factory of fakes ;-)? Very consistent and convincing argumentation...

Göring was treated akin to a film star upon capture until senior officers put a stop to the sideshow. For the first few months of his detention, he himself believed that he would eventually be involved in post-war negotiations as Hitler's successor. Among the prisoners in Ashcan and Nuremberg, Göring remained the most popular with his guards and he always acquiesced to autograph requests.
