        Hello.

Is it the 2000 years of Germanic heritage parade?

        Haven't checked as at work.

        Another nice one Ian!

        Regards,
        Chris.

Apparently there were four such Tag der Deutschen Kunst parades- in 1933, 1937, 1938, and 1939.

Looks like your photo is from the 1939 parade... at least the costumes match. And yes, the theme of the parade for that year was 2,000 Years of German Culture.

It says 'You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.'.
Do you have a direct open-access server link that you can post here, or did you post it as an attachment on that board?

hi randy, i setup pixpast to share my collection.
I have more than 23.000 color slides now from the war and i want to share them topic by topic.
i just set it up so people have to register for free, it kinda slows down the the guys ripping off photos and reselling them or just the millions of copy and paste collectors.
I already have... a little more than 2000 of my color slides posted and i try and organise them to the best of my ability.
if you have a look, tell me what you think ? im always looking for new ideas.
                    best wishes.
                    Ian
