    Another very nice grouping!
I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

THank you all Guys for all kind Comments. I must admit this forum has the great advantage, for answering Questions or just share some Stuff with you all, to take it in Hands, make some Pics.... and re-discovering details or signature, for my mow Pleasure...
Thanks to Mufasa for his informations concerning Laurana-Abbazia. I have already seen this Location on others documents, and I wonder if this place was not a place to recover from Wounds, in this really nice Area of southern Europe. Probably F.S. was authorized to wear civilian Clothes, and this "Ausweis", both in German and Italian, was necessary to attest his Identity...
Concerning Nick's Question, of course, I have (few) KC Awards. Honestly, I will further show some Stuff, including KC Documents, but like anybody here on WAF, I will also keep a good part for myself. We all need a "secret garden", isn't it ??
The point evoked by Jeremy is very correct... Years are going away, and most of the Veterans I met up to 1993 are now deceased. To be completely honest, I must admit that meeting the Vets was an evidence for me, I didn't realize the Chance I had to enjoy this opportunities. Now, I regret that the time spent with these most very interesting People was often too short... I only realize now that this period of my Collector's life is over. A sad Feeling, indeed.

        Lionel,

This was the first KC Soldbuch I ever see long time ago and you broke my heart when you told me it was not for sale, glad to see it still is in your hands, a pity you can not reunite the group.

        Keep going.

Hi Angel. You are right, it was not for sale in 1997, and today it remains the same... But you have got one other nice KC Soldbuch (and Wehrpass) from me, right ?? I don't know if you have still this, it is your Property... but I remember the great photo also with KC !!! Meanwhile I found a nice Portrait, signed, from him, which was given to me by a comrade from his regiment... I can really good remember this time you were at the Beginning of your Paper Collection... By "surfing" throughout WAF, I see with great Pleasure you have built a most desirable One !! Congrats !

Yes, I will be fprtunate enough to purchase from you this wonderfull set, I trade it last year as I focused in CCC and TDB holders, but it gave me a lot of fun researching it.

Yes, quite a long time when we started with the mail and the fax, now everything is more fast and easy.

Keep in touch and remember, still lokking for DKiG Soldbuchs to soldiers who also received the CCC and/or the TDB.

Hope we can meet in the future, meanwhile we still are intouch here.

By the way, I will attend Kassel in the coming weeks, are you going there?

              Angel
