I think you've misunderstood .
I meant the silver tresse normally running whole the way 'round the collar is now reduced to short pieces only running as far as the top of the collar tabs.

P.S. for wespennest, You are right I misunderstood. You mean the different NCO´s stripes on the Fliegerbluse, normally around the whole coller. I dont know, why they had sometimes only the stripe around the collar tab. Maybe You are right with saving material.

Who is this?
I got this picture from Hermann Historica together with some other pictures (via e-mail), and the text told me they were all Eichenlaubträgers. As you can see, the shoulder boards have yellow "waffen farbe". So who is this Eichenlaubträger?
