Next line: "Ankylosis of the right foot" [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ankylosis]
Sadly I´m not familiar with the french acronym "d.u."

8289 Liebe Mutter Komme an Weihnachten wahrscheinlich nicht nach hause, ob wir am Heiligen Abend nach hause duerfen weis' ich noch nicht. Schicke meinen Wachtanzug und ein Glas Gelee am besten in dem kleinen Koffer nicht in dem den ich schon hier hatte. Die Karte heb gut auf ist unser Wachhaus mit Tannenbaum.
