I was wondering if anyone could translate this page for me?

    Thank you,

I need help with Sütterlin myself, but before asking for favours let me try helping others within my linguistic capabilities. Translation of the short assessment from the above post is as follows.

Not yet in possession of a sufficiently solid character. Tends towards arrogance and thoughtless in his dealings. Often shows arrogant behaviour and is unloved by subordinates and comrades alike. Has a National Socialist attitude and has served well as a NSFO ( National Socialist politics officer). Proven conduct in front of enemy (2nd class Iron Cross). Good knowledge of engineer technology. Yet service assessment is wanting. Lively personality and talkative, but not particularly intelligent. In good physical state and fully fit for service.

Not a very flattering report card for an officer.

Also, at the very bottom, it says he has trouble resisting alcohol, and therefore tends to drink excessively at times.

            " Schädel - Vorlesung Som.(mer) 1943 " - skull lecture - summer 1943

The pic was taken during an University lecture with the subject "skull" in summer 1943.

This is the Sütterlin I am having trouble with. This is a dedication written on the first page of a Panther tank manual, die Pantherfibel. It was made out to an Obgefr. Piper.
"Mein lieber Piper, die Pantherfibel trägt????????" is as far as I could make out. I would like to have the rest of the German. Don't need any English translation.

Mein lieber Piper, die Pantherfibel trägt Ihre Handschrift. Sie wird dem Panther selbst und dem

Fibelwesen einen Ruck nach vorne geben. Haben Sie vielen Dank für Ihre vorzügliche Arbeit.

It's difficult to read the name. Could be a noble Name.

Anyone know Russian? This photo was taken somewhere in Russia or the Ukraine by a German soldier.

Someone on another site gave me their translation of the sign:

Під Тризубом Україна - щастя й радості країна.

Under the Trident Ukraine - country of happiness and joy.

                              The meaning of überzähligen etatsmässigen

Mit Wirkung vom 30 juni 1944 sind folgende SS-Sturmmänner zum überzähligen,
ab 1.9.44 zum etatsmässigen Rottenführer befördert
                              Does the above mean
with affect from 30.6.44 the following SS-Sturmmann to unsubstansive, on the 1.9.44 to substansive SS-Rottenführer as in paid and unpaid

I believe it refers to supplemental promotions; at times only so many people can be promoted, so there's a few "left over". They may have been able to wear the rank, but not receive the pay (called "frocking" in the US armed forces). Not 100% sure of that, but it's a possibility.
