Abbreviation on 1945 German Photo ~ Question
I am researching a photograph taken in Berlin in 1945. It was hand-marked on the negative (and hence the print also) with the following abbreviation in the lower right hand corner: L.A-12 Can anyone decipher that abbreviation? I thought it might be ,,Licht Abteilung - 12,, but so far I have found nothing to suggest that's correct. Could it be the initials of a Kriegsberichter, and if so were KB photos commonly marked in such a manner by the photographer? Any help would be most appreciated! - karl - And, BTW, I'll happily post a copy of the image once the research is complete.
