        Hi everyone,
Is this Russian? It is on the back of a period photo of a Stug that I purchased. Any help/translation would be GREATLY appreciated.

        Regards,

          Stamp:
          "Foto labaratory of
          newspaper "Stalin`s banner"
          of 4th Ukrainian Front.
          Photojournalist lieutenant Samannikov F.I."

The first word seems to be "Powerful", then we can read:
          1st line "Powerful self-propelled
2nd line "assault guns" There is some digits? I cann`t understand it
          3rd line "Slovakia, April 1945"

          Sorry for my English

Awesome. Thank you Uwe!. Is Batavia another name for Nijmegen? They are on the Waal/Rhein River?

I will try it and start:

                              "Blumen-Korso Zopot

                              ein silbern Sch... "

May be others can add the missing two words.
