      2) Could it be "Beim Sand verladen" ? loading sand ?

What does the photo show? What things/material they are loading?

Guys, I know this is a long one. It is a 4 page letter that I have tried to translate but the writing is tough. I'm hoping the pictures are clear enough.
Can someone give me some of the highlights from this letter.

The background of the letter and possibly some important information: The letter was written to a soldier from his wife. He was completeing his training and preparing to be shipped West. Previous to this letter being written he was in some sort of accident which I am hoping the letter has some clues to. Also previous to the letter his home was destroyed by aerial bombing(see post #6771) , so I am hoping the letter aslo may contain something about that.

The soldier would be KIA a few months later in the Battle of the Bulge.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

        Jared

            letter

If you could post half a page at a time it would be much easier to read and also flatten the paper with glass or scan it.

Guys, Second try at posting this with better photos. Had to pick up a new scanner. If a moderator wouldn't mind deleting the first pictures, I would appreciate it. Here's the background info again:

Maybe Wrong Forum, but can anyone make out the markings on the front of this StuG?

                      Thanks
