"...sende Ihnen Ihr Zollw. Schmitt. Hoffentlich bekomme ich noch mehr diese Stempel.
            Heil Hitler
            Schmitt"

The abbreviation "Zollw." could be an abbreviated rank in the Zollverwaltung (customs authority) ?

"In memory of the 25th anniversary day of the Rhein crossing near Wesel" signed by Kurt Student and the president and vice president of the Federation of German Paratroopers in 1970 is what I read.

                              heer portrait photograph translation help

Heer portrait photograph translation help please. Sorry it is a photograph and not a scan I hope the photograph is clear enough to translate. It appears to be in memory of his service time and kameraden possibly fell in April of 43.

The 268th infantry regiment was part of the 113 inf Div and was destroyed at Stalingrad Jan of 43 so I am wondering if there is anything mentioning that here? What was left of the Div reformed briefly in France and then back to Russia in April 1943. I wonder if this poor guy had been evacuated from Stalingrad then back to Russia and fell in April of 43 ? I know that date is also significant at that time -20Apr so maybe it is in reference something else?

Thank you for any help the cursive is tough to read for me.
