    Hello!

Could anyone decipher the writing on these cards?

It seems that it is fairly much the same on all, with small differences!

    Thank you,

            Brilliant help, Uwe!

I am trying to find out who are the people in the photo. Is there any more information that you decipher?
Names, locations etc. would be really helpful!

            Thank you!

                  Hello Darren,

A hard one, but this is what I make from your post:

X X X ûnd X sieht sich die sachen von oben an. Er hatte das tagesziel schon ereicht?

The X's, maybe another member can decipher those.

                  Cheers,

                  Oberst40

I found some more information on Kirchenrat i. R. Papenbrock.

Kirchenrat - Church Councillor . Title of a Prothestant priest.

i.(n) R.(uhe) means he was retired.

His first name was Otto and he was born 12.11.1867

Since 1.4.1892 he was pastor in the Karlsruhe area with the title "Kirchenrat"

                    Gerdan

                    23.2.1892 he became a priest

                      We must see the picture?

Die Flasche kreist (the original kreisst is wrong)
                      und Oswien sieht
                      sich die Sache von
                      oben an. Er hatte
                      das Tagesziel
                      schon ereicht.

Tagesziel > he was strongly drunk?

I hoped that there will be a clue as to an identity of Naval Officer and WWI pilot in these photos...
