Liebe Gerlindt(?), zuerst die besten Grüße und hoffe, euch noch gesund zu wissen, so wie ich es auch noch bin. Habe heute wieder Post von euch erhalten und werde heute Abend dieselbe beantworten.

Habe einen Brief von Mutter und die Post von "Schalusch??" und Gertrud sein Brief.

Sonst ist alles beim alten.

Gertrud(?) habe dir ...Paar Turnschuhe / Tanzschuhe (?) gekauft mit grüner(?) Sohle und hoffentlich ist die ... bald zu Ende damit ich.."

I think the name of the lady is "Gertrud" - not Gerlindt.

Here I try the translation:
