Gerdan you are right. Slanzy is a city in Leningrad region.

Thank you very much. I am always glad if - specially the place names - I thought to have identified are really existing. Often it does not work. Often Russion names are misspelled because of the different writing in German scripture on one side - and Cyrilliy writing on the other side.
