Tha last name could be "Peterchen" - diminutive of "Peter".

    Gerdan
Very nice Gerdan as in the middle between parents (Schwester and Schwager) sits young boy, their son.

This picture was taken during an official event held at the Tannenberg Memorial at Hohenstein (today Olsztynek, Poland): On that day, the mortal remains of Paul von Hindenburg and his wife were re-interred in the newly-built crypt and the Tannenberg-Nationaldenkmal was re-designated as the Reichsehrenmal Tannenberg. (The date was chosen as 2 October 1847 was von Hindenburg's birthday.)
      Danke Sehr!

On the front is the Guards star and motto with the shoulder strap below for the Guards Grenadier Regt. No. 4. On one side "Cheers dear Father Berlin 1904" which is where a Guards Regt. would be and the other side "Heinrich Hilz from your dear son Willy" and his unit. Looks nice.

                    ...bei Pretschistoje.
Пречистое (Rus.)/ Prechistoye (Engl.) is a small settlement in Smolenskaya Oblast', Russian Federation.
By the way, just some kilometers to the North-East from Prechistoye, there is Klushino - the birthplace of the first Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin.

And the two astronauts in the Dragon capsule just landed just south of here a half hour ago! Small world. Is Yuri Gagarin buried there or in Moscow?

Shouldn't this wonderful thread be a Sticky? It would be easier to find for people.
To get on topic: I need some help with the name of this Hauptverbandplatz. See attachment:
