Castelvetrano, Sicily, 1943

I received a nice picture today, its a LW soldier on a horse cart.
I need some help with the writings on the back.
I can read the following:

"Auf der straße von
Castelvetrano ****
**** **** Jedes Fahrzeug
Ausge*** werden"


I can't make much of the other stuff, can anyone else?
I can read German pretty good, but no old German handwritings

the horse cart is a donkey cart and the missing text I read:

Zum Meer muss jedes Fahrzeug ausgenuzt werden.

I wonder why the guy would tell that to his son?
The Allied invasion of Sicily started in Juli i believe?
But this photo is taken on 8th of February.

In February with trop uniform? Ok, is Sicily...but in February is not hot. Maybe is not "2" but "7", July.
