It is not a rich country thing.

There are thousands of photos that I would love to have in my collection but cannot afford or the wife will not let me buy.

Along the same vein there are some excellent collections members have that I could spend hours looking through, again I am not rich enough visit each and every one, plus they have to invite me as well.

So we have this forum that is a little different from others where members post images from their collections and collectors/interested observers like you and me get to see these otherwise inaccessible images.

I believe you both have valid points. However.. I use this forum for research and I believe the more images, the more effective the research. Noone is profiting from the photos they post. I believe that this forum is not just to see collections, but also to learn more about the different elements of the war.

That is a great pic, Todd. Just awesome! It seems they knocked out a balloon (observation balloon?)

These two 88 Flak gun photos just happen to arrive with a Flak Badge Portrait photo that I just picked up. I have loads of Flak photos but that means going through my collection again to look for the Kill ring shots...something to do maybe during the holiday season as I am staying put in the house this year. #1
