      40981/ General der Artillery Professor Dr. Becker has died.
      The Chief of the Heereswaffenamtes, Dean of the Weapons Technical Faculty at the Technical College in Berlin and President of Reichs’ Research, General der Artillery Professor Dr. phil.h.c. Dr. Ing. Karl Becker died on Monday, 8 April 1940 from a heart attack. The Führer has ordered a state funeral for the deserving General.
