Certainly the title was awarded and worn. I have seen photos of Sepp Brandner wearing this cuff title.

      Hi
i would know who is te man wearing a tdb on first photo: Anton MULLER OR HANS E. KUNSCH von BAUDACH ?
the photo was signed by A. Muller but according
      http://www.das-ritterkreuz.de/index_...rchword=MULLER
he served on 501 gr and not in 6 gr.
It' s true that mr kunsch (if we see his western germsny tunic) wear a tdb but, using a motor engine, he had never received a kc.

Here is a link to the answers towards the cuff title:

I would check the math on the awards and claims of the biography of the Oberst. Note his age in the photos he appears to be in his 60's in the first photo and the different awards some with the WWI EK others with only WWII awards. He is not listed as recieving any of these RK awards note also that all the out door "WWII" photos have the same type of pines in the background. I am not buying the story. Is he listed in the DKiG books? The website was written by the grandson.

1 of only two photos I have with the KURLAND cufftitle in wear.
This is an ATLANTIS crewman. Still alive; active and healthy.
