Hi.....
I've recently received quite a few KC recipients' autographs and autographed photos, and I'd like to share them with everyone.
The first example is a 9x14" folio, stamped on Remembrance Day, November 11, 1987. It was signed by seven KC recipients, and then flown from Mendig to Saillagouse, France via Dijon, Valence and Montpellier, then returned to Mendig by the same route.
It is also autographed by the pilot and co-pilot who flew the Sikorsky CH-53G of the HFIg Regiment, German Army Aviation.
The other examples are various postcard sized photos, autographed by:
(top row, L to R in the first photo) Artur Becker-Neetz, Erwin Prossl, Georg Bleher, and (bottom row, L to R) Heinrich Kohler, Fritz Birnbaum, Heinrich Meiswinkel.
The second photo, L to R, are: Herbert Wittman, Kurt Prinz, and Winrich Behr.
This is a new area that I'd like to concentrate on, so if anyone has addresses for other living recipients that they would share with me, or autographed cards/photos of any, living or deceased that they would like to offer, I'd be grateful to hear from you.
Cheers,
Bob.
