This could be interesting:
A new release telling the story of the 162nd (Turkistan) Infantry Division, a German division composed of Central Asian Turkistanis "volunteers". The book covers the political background and focuses on the most crucial events in the history of the division, the Gottschee battle (Slovenia) and the 'great winter mopping up' (northern Italy).
Myself, I participated in a uniform/photo section. For this I used many pictures that originate from archives of a Italian photo-studio and have been published before in the excellent 3 volume serie:“Deutsche Truppen in Italien”.
I'm sure this book will be most satisfying for all of those interested in the history and uniforms of Ost Truppen.
