Post Your Captured Flag Photographs

During the first six months of Operation Barbarosa the German Army must have captured many Red Army flags. Please post your photographs of German soldiers holding up captured flags.

Todd:
The referenced previous thread captured Soviet flag
is a 1930's award type banner, having the workers
of the world motto over the national wheat/globe/sun arms,
on the reverse (not shown) would be the lettering to where
and what the flag was awarded for - many where given out
to collective farms for meeting crop production goals.

factory production award banner

Todd:
The other referenced previous thread captured Soviet flag
is a cool Soviet factory (note smoke stacks) award banner
with a rare circa 1927 round spear point pole top finial. Again
this type of flag was awarded for meeting production goals.

Todd:
My pleasure! I would guess that few of the flags shown
in these captured flag photos still exist, so these photos are
likely the only remaining proof of what they once looked like.
It is also interesting to note that the Germans didn't seem to
have a clue as to what flag they had actually captured as many
shown are award banners and not regimental unit flags - enemy
unit flags being the much sought after testament prizes of victory.

Ukraine SSR example...

Hello again:
Here is another WW2 German captured flag, this time a
Ukrainian state arms version - the backside (not shown)
would say what the flag was awarded for and where.
