I bought a set of Heydrich stamps from Manion's that were advertised as "copies" so that I could learn what fake Heydrich stamps look like. Well, it's pretty hard to tell any difference.
Someone did a really good job on these. They may have been printed using the same plates as the originals. If you are familiar with the flaws on the Heydrich plates, then you know about the "egg head", the "1842" errors, etc. I can see these errors on the fakes as well.
In this picture, one set is fake, one is genuine. Can anyone tell which is which? They look identical under black light. The paper looks and feels the same. But, I haven't looked at them under a microscope yet.
