What is the story of this soldier, mine is known as I posted the whole group early, it's a pilot a crew member? unit? final rank and medals?

Simon you know I'm a curious man and I want to know everything I can.

        Thanks for posting

          Fuhrmann's grouping is posted here
          http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=7862&hl=fuhrmann

I also posted Henkel's story somewhere but can't find it.

Unfortunately i'm missing his Narvik doc but his part in the Narvik campaign is known and recorded...in fact part of his He111 still survives!

Unless it was nighttime, or the weather was bad, and you were running out of gas - then it was a sweaty nightmare, like a monkey f*ing a skunk.

This are from our friend KonradR

First an Aufklarer, his EK II very early in the war. He was the first in his squadron to receive the EK I for Norway, unafortunately he was killed in the earlier stages of the French campaign.

Interesting but both must be for the same award as you couldn't get it twice.
