        I mean PEP had the soonest yet..... but no more longer, excuse me !!

        THis one ist from Sept.18th 1939. Feldwebel R. was awarded the Knight Cross during the France Campaign june 1940, and KIA on Okt.25th.1941. Lionel. </P><p><img src="http://cdn04.trixum.de/upload2/b/l/blCcIrWK3yRw142367499992P1683.jpg"></p>

            EK II & I citations both awarded to the same soldier in early October 1939 that I posted some time ago and still own...

              Thomas Huss had this great set (plus more from same guy in different lots...group split up! ) for the very reasonable price (IMHO) of 125 euro on his last update.

                A very interesting thread indeed so here's a little contribution from me - a Urkunde EK II Klasse belonging to a crewmember on Zerstörer Hermann Künne. I guess he received this for some of the mine-sorties on the coast of England or in the North Sea in the autumn/early winter of 1939.

                He later participated in the Battle of Narvik 1940 before ending his wartime service on a Minensuchboot. Besides this Urkunde EK II Klasse I have all his other award documents as well
