I got this set of awards and documents to a Hptm. Heinrich ERNST who was a Wehrmachtnachrichten Officer . I like to ask if anybody out there has any info on him or his units : Per Dod Tag 3./K.N.A.422 and per the German / Croatian pass : Nachr. Komp. d/ mot/833. --Or any place I could write to in Germany for information???

Paper showing his completed training as a Blt.-Abt. - Leader from 9.3.45 to 17. III.45 at the Heeresschule, the 27 th training class .

This paper showing that he went to a follow-up training at the same place .He traveled from Guestrow/ Mecklenburg to Haale / Saale to the school.

The last paper states that training from 21.3.45 to 7.4.45 was incomplete : training for " Abt. Kom.v. Inf.der Nachr.Abt.---(A I /587)". The document is dated 8.4.45 ;---sooo, very close to the end of the war! --This guy spent all the last months of the war in trianing -- what a way to go !!--and did not need to fight the Russians at that time around Berlin -- nor the Americans coming from the West . If he was smart , he just took off from the training place in Haale and walked West to surrender to the Americans !!!!

Here now the decoration that came with the papers : The Croatian Order of the Crown of King Zvonimir 3rd Class with green enamel oak leaves for Bravery in the field .

Here the backside of the medal : " BOG I HRVATI " means " God with the Croats " and 1076 was the date of the coronation of the king . 1941 was the issue date of the order .

War Service Cross 2nd class with swords and the Croatian ribbon with the miniature crown and enameld oak leaves-- very detailed , on a silver plate. I hope you enjoyed all this and can help me with any info .
