I got this set of awards and documents to a Hptm. Heinrich ERNST who was a Wehrmachtnachrichten Officer . I like to ask if anybody out there has any info on him or his units : Per Dod Tag 3./K.N.A.422 and per the German / Croatian pass : Nachr. Komp. d/ mot/833. --Or any place I could write to in Germany for information???

The last paper states that training from 21.3.45 to 7.4.45 was incomplete : training for " Abt. Kom.v. Inf.der Nachr.Abt.---(A I /587)". The document is dated 8.4.45 ;---sooo, very close to the end of the war! --This guy spent all the last months of the war in trianing -- what a way to go !!--and did not need to fight the Russians at that time around Berlin -- nor the Americans coming from the West . If he was smart , he just took off from the training place in Haale and walked West to surrender to the Americans !!!!Comment

Here the backside of the medal : " BOG I HRVATI " means " God with the Croats " and 1076 was the date of the coronation of the king . 1941 was the issue date of the order .Comment
