I think that the pic upside left was taken in Mons,and during the german retreat in september 44 I found the same spot in a book.

You can see the same spot behind the soldier on the left pic.4 years and few months between this two pics.

I think that's Dion-le-Mont.20 Km south of Brussel in Brabant Wallon.
