shame about the cross being cut out..if you are going to take a souvenir,and have time to do that much cutting,why not just take the whole flag? maybe that's just me and my collecting head speaking...

As I collect military unit flags of all periods, many times
I've encountered older flags that are now just fragments.
So obtaining original pieces of regimental flags is no
problem with me. Now I once had a full yellow Luft flight
unit fahnen, but traded it off for another flag I wanted more
for my collection. My former full yellow Luft flag can be seen
in the SOS-2006 show photos posted on this forum. I keep
my remaining yellow Luft flag iron cross center cut piece
hanging over my computer along with some other unit flag
fragment pieces which I wouldn't mind finding some trooping
photos of sometime too. </center>
