Hey Mike....Lucky for you I haven't delved into this area of collecting. My interest is down with the footslogger who in most cases couldn't afford to have their own cameras but picked them up from captured stock. My Father was one as he souvenired a German camera. Unfortunately many of his photos went by the way of the trash after too many moves over the years.

Posting something a bit different. A CBI kodachrome lot. All from the same GI.

          Enjoy! Mike

I love the old color ones as well. An uncle of mine had some really neat photo of being in Germany right before and after the war in Germany. I wonder what happened to them after he passed a few years ago.

Hopefully they are still in the Family! Thanks for the good word.

some more from my 40th Combat Engineer album. These all look like from his time in N. Africa and Italy. Nice shot of Anzio Annie!

Here are scans from a negative grouping to a sailor on a support vessel. these were taken during the battle of Iwo Jima. Not the best quality but they are combat shots so they are worthy of sharing.

A recent addition. GI wearing his "liberated" German accouterments. Note the Jacket has a shield on the sleeve
