        Hallo Norwegian Guys:
In the last batch, Russian #1 is, I would bet, taken in Finland.
I am no good at uniforms, but the vehicle is a 1939/40 Chevrolet with a very typical Finnish winter camoflage.

          Thanks Bill!

Simon, regarding Bjerkvik, I have been out a hard winter night there before. Fighting our a r s e s against the 42 Royal Navy Commandos

The photo below is from Bjerkvik, and show the soldiers (will not say wich unit name) that was defeted by us, and had to withdraw. (Sorry for the mis leading, but thought it would be great to show Bjerkvik today)

          Cheers
          Øyvind

              Hei igjen Øyvind

The photo of the house with the lamps. What about the Narvik rail line? The workers would need lamps at night or when working in the tunnels.

The last photo. The guy in the middle with the cap on is i think a Norwegian soldier, looks like the soft cap they wore then, so perhaps a couple of POWs taken in April.

Lastly, it's 42 Commando Royal Marines, not Navy. I've been on a few of those NATO exercises in N.Norway myself. In fact i've served longer in Norway whilst in the British army than you Norwegians do during your national service
