Well, myself I'm not what you'd call a "hardcore Photo Nut", but here are two of my favorites. Enjoy.

First up is a squad of guys with too much time on their hands.

      Gung Ho!

Second up is one of my favorites. Note the names of all the battles she fired in.

I can't tell you. Unfortunately I don't have enough information on this picture.

My guess is a local resident of the town near by??

I like the sort of photos that have been shown so far.
As this seems to be a thread/contest not of the most expensive or rarest photo, but of the more artistic and attractive photos, I will soon jump in with some of mine

Here is my favourite private photo for this thread. It shows the burrial of the RAF personnel of an English aircraft shot down in Braine le Comte in Belgium during the occupation. I was astonished by the amount of curiosity and respect. Notice the immense row that expands to the top right corner (under the "tion"), the Germans and Belgian police forces that are guarding the grave, the girl with the flower in the centre of the photo, the huge amount of flowers, the Union Jack in which they are about to be burried ... just so much to see in this photo.

I agree with Ian. Some of the best photos depict the softer side of people.
Here's two showing a doting Heer officer and his wife with his grandchildren. You can see that he is very fond of them.

Excellent idea - but very difficult for me to realize.

I have soooo much photos that I like.
There are different categories. Some photos are just "perfect". Crisp and sharp. Others show interesting scenes. Some are very unique.

Here are a few of my favourites:

In the category - NEW PHOTOS - this one which I got yesterday is a very pretty one:

                            Excellent quality.

Note the fine details of the motorcycle, a british A.J.S.

In the category - SS-PORTRAITS - this one is (one of) my favourites:

In the category - FAMOUS PEOPLE - this one is definately my best shot:

Photo was taken in 1929. A very early picture of Sepp Dietrich.

As a funny side-note - bought that one from another collector but he didn't realize that Sepp is on that photo.

                            Will post more soon

                            Robert

Far to the right, first row, Grimminger is sitting.

                                yup

yeah, I saw grim as well. But look at Sepps' shoulder. Does anybody recognize him?
This is a photo of axeman in 1945 handing out EK2s. it s'one of a series of kreigsberichter photos I bought last year.
