I take it this one is a Bussing NAG. Did they all have the embossing in the bumpers like this one? Mike

Morning Mike:
Your 136 is a Buessing. That fluted grille is a dead giveaway and appeared on both trucks and busses of the era.
Your 135 is a really interesting photo and will require some research. The second vehicle is an ordinary Ford V8 51 that would have come from Belgium or Holland and could have been either military originally or civilian confiscated.
The lead vehicle is, for the moment, an International to me. The vehicle in the left background (sideways view) looks very British for the moment. The others I will have to play with.
As always, if there were complimentary photos to this one or if you have the locale or time frame it woud help a lot.
Someday, I will put to paper, or PC, the data base now in my head as to where certain vehicles were used at certain times. Due to another research project, I have the sales data for most European countries 1935-1941 and that helps me to take some of the guesswork out of what a vehicle might be if I know the country the photo was taken in. As an example, Internationals were sold in some numbers in Norway and the Latt countries but almost nowhere else. Lots of them found their way to Russia and a lot stayed behind If it sort of looks like an Inter and I know the photo was taken in Norway I can make a much better "educated guess".
Cheers

Steve, thanks for the response. Your idea sounds very logical to me and since you can see some type of either seating or tables your thoughts are what i am going to agree with. thanks! MikeOriginally posted by afrikaI think what we have here is either a de-lousing station or a Gas training set up.

Hi guys:
I had not looked at that one for a while but upon revisiting the photo, I came to the conclusion that my and others idea of a heating unit did not pass muster. They did not have the resources, I think, to do something to heat a tent that was that sophisticated and would have used pot bellied stoves just like on "Mash".
Of Afrika's two theories, I would lean towards the gas mask training as that would probably require a "course" before undergoing the actual
gassing". I have been in a delousing tent and they did not have any furniture at all. That would also tie in with the equipment one can see on the side of the truck which is pretty complicated stuff.
Maybe another one "in the book".
Cheers

Morning Larrister:
Tough one, where is Hans Rinsma when we need him??
OK, it is a quite small car, a cabriolet limousine with seemingly one window behind the door. At least middle thirties because of the disc wheels.
It could almost be an early MB 170 but I am not calling it that at this point.
Hopefully, Hans or someone else will pick up on this. Edit: A DKW Meisterclass 1934/35 is also a possibility according to my "picture books".
Cheers

Hi Tim:
Well, since I started the thread, I guess I get to set the rules
Anything and everything from bicycles to railroad engines would seem to fit I would think.
Now, then, you would have to post one of those pesky German half tracks which I always ID incorrectly. I can't seem to find it now, but there have been charts/drawings posted on the net and in several books that show how to ID these vehicles by the shape of the holes in the road wheels, how many road wheels, how they overlap etc. etc. and without that chart I am lost. It is not less than the 8 tonner and not more than the 12 tonner in my opinion and that is as close as I can get just now.
Post away.
Cheers

Hi Larrister;
Yes, a bit of a mystery that one.
Not to take up a lot of band width, but absenting the huge files I got from OZ, I am about 50% through and you will start seeing results already tonight.
On the other hand, I had my new laptop with me on our one week trip to our national HobbyTown USA convention and had no passwords etc. so could only lurk. But, I could download!!! and that I did, probably several hundred photos which I shoved into my bookmark file which is saved on my AOL files no matter which PC I am using. So, lots more editing to do.
My new family is now pretty well settled in and the unpacking done so I will be able to get back to a more normal rythym of posting photos as well as text.
Cheers
Bill
