For those who have not seen the editing policy here is the change that was just announced by the Administration:
Dear all,
The moderation and administration team has reached the conclusion that the indiscriminate editing of posts is detrimental to the forum and member community. Many very useful threads have been rendered virtually useless by the removal of pictures and/or deletion of posts, while others have become senseless when the poster goes back and modifies posts.
As a result we have implemented a change in the time allowed to edit posts, you will now have 10 minutes to modify your posts, after which only a moderator will be able to do so. We hope that this change will help us maintain the integrity of future threads.

On all new posts you have ten minutes to make any changes to your posting which also includes E-Stand. Old postings cannot be changed. Only a Moderator can make a change if it does not affect the integrity of the thread. Deleting of photos will most likely not be considered. The photos belong to WAF forever. Although I would never delete my photos...taking my right away to do so does not sit well with me...thus my decision not to post any longer. There is a debate on the collectors thread and maybe some other locations like Kniepe...so if you want to make any comments or join in on it please do so there and not here. Thanks

The time to edit posts has been changed to 90 minutes. Administration is working on allowing editing in the Estand only.
