    Supposedly died in East, Teverdunowo (Wiasima) area.

          He's not even listed on the German war graves database. The only thing that can be said is that he belonged to the infantry branch of service.
          Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

            It’s a really nice unusual piece! I’ve never seen anything like it before. Because of its size and rustic construction I imagine it was made by a family member or fellow soldier and having pride of place behind a bar.

            Or not as romantic but maybe a little chapel.

                Here's one at the foot of Garmish's Grasberg mountain.

                I used to pass by it every weekend on the way up to St. Martinshütte when I was stationed in Garmisch.

                    My focus is Gebirg and Jager but I like Infantry items as well. So this information is a bonus.
