    RKT Willi Traber

I'm looking for all sorts of info about military carieer of Ritterkreutztraeger Willy Traber. I'm especially interested in when he became chef 3./G.R.309 and where was he taken POW by the red army.
    Any help appreciated
    Al

      Thanks Ardennes.
BTW there is a slight mistake there. He was a commander of I./G.R.309 not 1./G.R.309 as a recipient of KC.
      Anything bit more detailed anyone??

          Hi Al,

Here are four documents from his personnel file that should assist you.

          Cheers,

              Perfect MJC!
Do you have any other documents about Traber which would mention his Erkennungsmarke nummer?
Please check my older post http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=461036
It would be great to verify if this was Traber's tag or not (hope it is )
              Thanks!

                Hi Al,

Sorry, his file is only about 20 pp in total, and their is no entry regarding his Erkennungsmarke number.

                Good luck with the hunt!

This is the best quality image I could source from his file.

                    Cheers,

                    Mike
