That is sad news....we corresponded regularly in the 90's.

    RIP Herr Schuck

Today Kurt Sametreiter can celebrate his 93. birthday!

The attached photo was taken on Herr Sametreiter's 93rd birthday, in his hometown.

He also took delivery of the follow-up volume on his history - "My Brother in Arms - The Lost Archive" (number 001 of course!).

He was in great form and good health for being 93.

If it came from him directly am sure it is probably fine, what he signed on irrelevant despite some often absurd statements to the contrary.

I have letters from veterans on European dimension paper, US paper, custom stationary, note paper size paper, cards, airmail paper (basically tissue or trace paper weight), etc. Endless.

Any doubt (though unknown why), PM me and I'll send you a period signature for comparing though as many in their 90s a signature is often less distinct.

Wikipedia's living RKT list is wrote as he still living.

Well, there's also written as alive Heinz Polz, who is dead; I don't see Otto Schmalzried, who should be near to his 101 birthday.
And for peoples like Leo Rinkowski,Ludwig Zinsser or Reimer Voss...I don't know.

Wikipedia is probably not be best source for this kind of researches!
