While Bernhard Frank may have not been a RK Holder , he still was a very interesting person . He was the last commander of the Obersalzberg complex and I had the pleasure of meeting him over twenty years ago . May he rest in peace .

Yes, as a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure he did an audio CD of his memories. It might even be a two volume set. I had seen it in some book flyer a year ago and thought about ordering it, but then I forgot. I will double-check these days.

Yes.
Hubert Meyer ended the war as Obersturmbannführer, Heder and Wanhöfer as Sturmbannführers.
About that, is it known who are other Sturmbannführers still alive?there's should be also Herbert Schmeißer from Wiking Nachrichten Abteilung.

Yes , Hubert Meyer is the highest ranking SS Officer still alive and he is also the last living SS Divisional Commander .
Having met Hubert several times at the 1 SS Panzer Korps Treffens is Austria and Germany over the years I can honestly say he is one of the most helpful persons I have ever met within the SS veterans . I am honoured to call him my friend .
