"526" could not be a number of an Org. Todt unit?
Greetings,
Andrea
If it's a Dienststempel, then "526" could be for OT-Trupp 526. OT 3-digit numbers in the 500-series were always for OT-Trupps until late 1944. After that, the OT set up so-called Front-Bataillonen, some of which were numbered up to 510.
I do not have a list of all OT units. You will need to get the following books to obtain this information:
SINGER, Hedwig (ed.). Quellen zur Geschichte der Organisation Todt. Osnabrück: Biblio-Verlag, 1985-87. ISBN 3-7648-1704-6. 3 Bände (volumes).
You will want Band 3:
BÖHM, Klaus. Die Organisation Todt im Einsatz 1939-1945 - dargestellt nach Kriegsschauplätzen auf Grund der Feldpostnummern. Osnabrück: Biblio-Verlag, 1987. 803p. ISBN 3-7648-1732-1.
