The one pictured in Previtera's clasp book is credited to, or at least the photo was taken by, our own Francois Saez. It too is a box for a gold bomber clasp.
While I agree with Seb that typically these boxes are seen with the late war/zinc FLL Pilot, ROAG, and CCCs, the one pictured in the clasp book did not come with the accompanying clasp so no way to verify what was in it (zinc or tombak and by what manufacturer). I think the best we can say for this set is it came that way...when the 2 were matched up will remain a mystery. Could have come that way back in '45 or could have been swapped out later.
As some of you may recall I have a boxed FB&L Silver CCC which comes in this type of box - the ones normally seen with FLL CCCs, again no way of knowing what happened over time.
