    CEJ again...

PM me if you have any questions. And which Nikon do you have?

    I picked up a used D300 with a cheap 18-55 lense.

Nice Badges and Photos Tim, yes I have the same camera...Took 60 Pics at the Super Bowl and only about 10 are worth showing...although were pretty far away and I dont quite have the 70-300MM lense down

        Hi Scott,

the correct lighting is must to succeed. Avoid too mutch zoom because it tends to get more sensitive to shakes etc and tends to come out blurry. Follow Marks suggestions in terms of Macro etc for close ups.

        Lovely badges btw
        Regards

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

You dont have to have a very expensive camera to take quite good pictures

I have an old Konica Minolta Dimage Z 6 and i am happy with it right now.

Buy a photo tent and then bingo and the much better pictures are there

Off course i should look for a better camera in the future but right now it works for what i need

              Nice pictures Andy!

I agree, all the pictures I took over the last 10 years were taken with cheap cameras (until I got the Nikon a few months ago).

Maybe I will try one of these tents of which you speak. Can you also go camping in it?

Scott, I've got an 18-200 lense, but it doesn't work for badges. Throw on a cheap 18-55 and things will be a lot better.

A lens you can try to picture Badges is the Nikon 105mm VR macro F2.8. Probably one of the best for that kind of picture....

It's not the badges and the camera that worry her....
It's the blow up sheep and the Astroglide!

Actually, I'm feeling a badge movement coming on!
