GWL observers badge

Hi guys, whats the general feeling on this badge, apart from that the swastika has been off and quite well put back on at somepoint?

The catch is also replaced. And looks like the wreath was repainted.

Original, but replaced swastika,repaired catch, refinished wreath.

eagle , wearth and rivets looks a good GWL
but I do not want to have the piece, like the others have already written, fully worked up, Swas, finish, catch new !!!

Yeah Frank, it's definately a replacement - catch should look like this if original to the badge.

It was probably a re nazification!?

Hi guys, I did mention at the top of the thread that the swastika had been off at some point, as for the finish, when I got the badge it was covered with verdigris, and after carefully removing it with a fine brush that was the finish underneath? and when I also discovered that the swastika had been removed at some point. Are all GWL badge catches made of square section wire as this is the only GWL I own?
