I had a very good day so far, this Badge came with some really great TR stuff dirt cheap today. If this is real, I've been struck by lightning!! If this is real I'll go buy a lottery ticket today. Most likely a bad Badge. To rare to be this luckey! Everything else in this collection has been good. No maker mark, has the Ball style hinge, standard looking needle pin with the retaining clip soldered into the whole in reverse of badge. Very detailed Eagle!

Flak88, all the items I picked up today are 100% original. Just not sure of this one badge since they are very rare. This collection came from the vets son... That's all I can tell you guy's. IMO it's a keeper.

Leroy, I don't think I can get any better photos with this camera. But that link that Flak88 sent me, it's a twin to that one. Same setup, with a ball hinge with the retaining clip soldered into the hole.

The lenght of the wreath not counting the swaz is about 55.3mm x 41.7mm. About another 3mm or so to the bottom of the swaz. Not sure of the weight, but close to the assualt type badge. I hope I measured right in MM?

As said by Marc (Flak88) already => the same type as in the thread (so called ball hinge glider).

My opinion on these might be clear by now. Iff you believe in this particular type of glider badge, keep it.
