Period pic of Marseille's goblet. Very useful to help checking the authenticity.
I suppose that Marseille's and Rudel's goblets must be the most expensive ones.

It is better to use Robert Tate's book's ( published by Schiffer several years ago) photos as it has many close up photos ,especially the name band area, of the goblet.
Today i visited a collectorfriend and he show me the book of Robert Tate book of Marseille (2008 printed) I was shocked ! The book has fakes of documents an forgeries of signed photo and clipping of Marseille inside.
Not serious book !
For serious collectors is only the book good:
Walter Wübbe "Marseille" Ein Jagfliegerschicksal in Daten,Bildern und Dokumenten !
Here inside is the Original wartime photos from the goblet from Marseille
Page 206/207
Writting : Unknown what with the goblet of Marseille was happen !
In Robert Tate s book there are only the photos from the actuelly showing goblet in this forum - not from the wartime goblet photos !!!

This goblet comes with the signed certificates of George Petersen and Wolfe/Hardin. I doubt anyone can challenge their combined experiences.
At the end, no one will get hurt during next re-sell as I doubt this goblet will leave Asia.

With that news, my heart is broken.

In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.
Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.
Let's try to help Bob for his diamond holder goblet. Besides Marseille's one owned by Chen and Rudel's one which should still be in the family with his other awards where are:
Gollob's, Graf's, Nowotny's, Lent's and Schnaufer's goblets?
I think but I am perhaps mistaking that Galland and Mölders didn't receive one.
I think Wolfe has the goblet to Molders. He once offered to me after he sold me this Marseille's goblet, but I did not go ahead as I am not a goblet collector.
