Verso of badge on left. The hallmark is small and deep.

Verso of badge on right. Hallmark is larger than the other and not as deeply stuck.

Verso of both badges for visual comparison of size of hallmarks.

          Bob,
Goreous pieces and representative of the two maker marks. Can I ask you if you can figure out any difference between the two other thn mm? Can you look at the hinge and see if one is slightly beveled and the other perfectly straight? Just wondering why they would change - or did they change? Maybe they had another stamp made to speed up the process...we will always wonder!

            Hello Marc,

The hinges, catches and pins are identical, in every aspect. I see nothing different on any detail of the badges or hardware.

Very well done! There should be no confusion now as to the marks Brehmer used. Thank you for your work!

              Beautifully preserved badges.

              Robert
