Hi Everybody!
Today somebody showed me a Juncker (supposedly) glider badge, CEJ marked.
This is the first time I've had the opportunity to handle one and as such, I have to say that I'm suspicious (but lacking in sufficient knowledge to be certain). I'm afraid I have no photos yet (since the item presently isn't for sale though the owner 'threatened' to pass it my way in the near future.
My initial suspicions centre around the pin and hinge. Would I be right in thinking that this badge should have the wide hinge typical of Juncker badges, as found for example on the Radio Operators Badge? Whilst examining said Glider Badge, I was able to compare it with my Radio Operators Badge and the hinge on the glider badge was considerably narrower.
I've tried searching the archive to find a photo of a CEJ marked glider badge but was unsuccessful. Can anyone post a photo (obverse and reverse) please?
Thanks for your time.
All the best,
Toby.
