The inlet is positioned correctly. The ball binge inlet from the purple flak case has 2 round holes and this one have only one and the second opening is for an hinge. Which tell me the case is not original to the BH glider badge. But i would not mind it honesly. There is also some inlet with the same hinge opening with purple case but the color dont match with the spray felt either.

I don't see the case belonging to the badge.

That WOULD make sense. Kramer you'll end up with more profit splitting them anyway.

Also another good sign these are war time is that they also come with the two variants of catch. The ball hinge flak as well as the glider badge come with the silver wire catch but also with the less common flat wire catch.

Leroy, do you have in your possession angother gablonz like the ball hinge flak to compare the hinge and catch wire size to do some ''forensic''.

Seb - I have the glider, but not the flak. I'll be glad to caliper the thickness of the pin wire later tonight and will try to take photos of the hinge and catch (caveat: I'm the worst photographer here).

Ok leroy, maybe someone will post dimensions of the flak as well later, Im not home at the monent. I have searched trought this thread and many others and it seem no one actually did it for comparaison.

                                Thanks
