I bought this badge a long while back as a 1957 paratrooper badge. I suspect that it's a denazified fake. I came to this conclusion due to the way the eagle is attached to the wreath. Just want to hear what the experts think.

Yes, you are correct. Usually they are stamped "L/58." Here is one a FJ veteran gave me. He bought it in the late '40s in Germany, after he was released from various POW camps in the US and England, to replace his which was taken from him.Attached FilesWilli
