I would say it is definitely postwar.

The catch is typical of postwar Souval awards and there is no cutout between the hull of the boat and the wreath.

with no slot under the hull..

Hi Den,

Souval’s post-war cast production continued at least into the 1980s although I don’t know when exactly they stopped.

Here's a thread from the '57 forum on Souval. Best guess is the production of their 3rd Reich reproductions ended with the death of the proprietor Ludwig Umlauf in the late 1980s.
