Hi Chay,

Another great zincer. The “Type 1” die as described in this thread, and probably an earlier example (within Schwerin’s zinc production anyway) given the dome-head hinge pin.

Interesting that this would have looked like a gorgeous plated finish when new and that such a prestigious firm as Schwerin would have been so off the mark in terms of durability.

It’s an interesting specimen ,
I like the silver plated detail is excellent , I think AS had the better long term finish system for plating ,
