        I agree with Hubert.

Hopefully you can get your money back on the U-Boat badge. The quality is good on these fakes and meant to deceive.
The reverse hardware is one of the main giveaways on these badges.

        Cheers,Martin.

Hi Martin thanks for your help, I haven't purchased any of them.. I didn't like the makers mark on the U-Boat that's why I posted them here for opinions [emoji1303]

Judging from the hardware this fake u-boat looks like one of the infamous 'cave creek specials' which have been in circulation since mid 90s.
Good to hear you have not bought it yet.
            Cheers,
            Hubert

Or at least were marketed by a dealer in Cave Creek, Arizona as Martin says, giving rise to the nickname, but where they were made is less clear.

I think the first red flag for most KM badges is the fact they are even in an antique shop. I have been in hundreds of such shops and I just think with the advent of the internet, these shops rarely make a big mistake with almost anything--books, coins, militaria, nothing.

I personally have never found a single KM badge worth anything in antique shops in the US or Europe.

I know Jody in Arizona has had some luck 40 or 50 years ago, but I have not experienced such finds.

Now, back in the 1950's, it was possible. 2017, pretty tough. John

Hi John thanks for your reply.. the antiques Dealers shop has a variety of glass cabinets from different sellers.. the one gentleman has a lot of British and german militaria (some very nice items) this is where I found them, out of the four items I posted three have been good, the one fake is the U-Boat here
